The Women of St. Andrew's [WSA] is an organization for all the women in the parish. The organization serves the parish and community in a variety of ways. The WSA meets the second Saturday of each month in the Parish Hall with breakfast starting at 8:30 a.m. Each meeting includes breakfast, fellowship and a business meeting. We would love to have all the women of St. Andrew's join us at any meeting!
We're very proud of the outreach programs endorsed by the WSA. A sampling of the activities in progress will be shown on this page from time to time but include Elder-Care (in our adopting a local assisted living home). Currently we show up each month and conduct Bingo on the premises of their assisted living home which gives us a chance to get to know the residents.
The Women of St. Andrew's also organize the parish-wide project, Operation Christmas Child, where you pack shoeboxes full of gifts for needy children and they are then delivered to Samaritan's Purse where they are shipped internationally to children in need. Our participation started in 2012 and has grown substantially each and every year since.
